This page explains the shipping options currently configured for THE OR NOIR CO. and the 14-day withdrawal right for eligible consumer purchases made online. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Shipping options
The store currently has shipping zones for France and for locations not covered by another zone. A “Free shipping” method is enabled in both zones, with no minimum order amount configured. Checkout will show the available option for the delivery address you enter; review the final option and total before placing your order.
Delivery timing
Any delivery date or estimate displayed before you place your order, and in your order confirmation, applies to that order. If no delivery date or period is agreed, French consumer law generally requires delivery without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the order. If the agreed deadline is missed, consumers may have the right to require delivery within an additional reasonable period and then cancel if delivery still does not occur.

14-day right of withdrawal
For eligible consumer purchases of goods made online, you may withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason within 14 calendar days. The period starts on the day after you, or a person you designate other than the carrier, receives the goods. For an order delivered in separate items, the period generally starts on the day after you receive the last item.
To exercise this right, send a clear statement of your decision before the 14-day period ends to info@theornoirco.eu. Include your name, order number and the item(s) you are withdrawing from so we can identify the order. You may also use the official withdrawal form; using a form is not required if your message clearly tells us you are withdrawing.
After notifying us, send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after your notice. Please email us before sending a parcel so we can confirm the correct return address and instructions; the registered business address is not stated here as a returns address.
Return costs and refunds
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods only where you were informed before placing the order that you would bear that cost. If you were not informed, the applicable statutory rules place that cost on the seller.
When you withdraw, the refund includes the price paid and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the order. We will refund without undue delay and within 14 days after we are informed of your decision. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or you provide proof that you sent them back, whichever happens first. The refund is made using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise.
Exceptions and other rights
The statutory withdrawal right does not apply to certain legally excluded goods or circumstances. Examples include goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, and sealed goods not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed. The right generally continues to apply to discounted goods. Your separate statutory rights for goods that are faulty or not as described are not reduced by this policy.
